KATIE KRASON

Dr. Curt Thompson writes that “we arrive into this world searching for someone who is searching for us,” and that “the experience of being known is what we all truly long for.”

Being invited into that longing and into the lives and stories of others… both the parts of beauty and the parts of harm… is an honor that I hold with tenderness and awe.

I am a licensed mental health therapist and a certified trauma professional serving clients in Ocean County, New Jersey. I have worked for over 20 years in various helping and research positions in hospitals, schools, homes, and community non-profit organizations. With specialized training in the areas of trauma and abuse, I have a holistic approach that includes evidence-based practices for the mind, body, and soul.

I believe healing takes place within the context of relationships and am committed to providing compassionate care that engages individuals with curiosity and kindness.

Outside of my work I enjoy the ocean, writing, running, campfires, and Twenty One Pilots.

People are not problems to be solved. They are mysteries to be explored…
